Weekly Devotional - March 13th

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.

Romans 1:21

One of the worst conditions inherited from the fall in the garden, and quite frankly our chief sin, is our constant refusal to worship God for who He is, or even to give thanks. It is a significant case of rebellion. Yet, the Author of all things has addressed our disobedience, and provided a champion for our defense. However, this refuge is not attained by our own merit, or through our own work, but through the divine power of His grace in bearing our sin, and the provision of His cloak of righteousness to wear as our own.
