Weekly Devotional - February 22nd

For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not

subject themselves to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Romans 10:3-4

Paul explained to the believers in Rome—just as he does to you and me—that righteousness is not something we achieve through our actions; it is not accomplished in the practical sense. Instead, the righteousness granted to believers is positional. This means that a believer’s status before God is not based on their own deeds but on what Christ has already accomplished for them.
