Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God

Romans 1:1

Our sin, is nothing short of an affront to a holy, and merciful God. In our conviction, we cast ourselves at the foot of the cross, with all hope in the blood of the Son, and in recognition of the emptiness of all previous desire. The apostle Paul had such a conversion walking the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19), and as a result, surrendered himself to the will of Christ. Oh, that all conversions today would mirror this commitment, positioning Jesus in the place once occupied by ourselves.
